密度计的使用范围很广，可用于测量各类液体或溶液的密度。

(1)密度大于1000Kg/m3的溶液或液体

用于测定各种酸、碱、盐类溶液的密度。例如酸类中的硫酸、硝酸、盐酸以及某些无机酸或有机酸的溶液；碱类如氢氧化钠(烧碱)、氢氧化钾等溶液；盐类如氯化钠(盐)、氯化锌等的溶液。

(2)密度小于1000Kg/m3的溶液或液体

用于测定甲醇、乙醇、乙醚溶液，以及汽油、柴油、煤油、植物油、石油醚等物质及其溶液的密度。Densimeters are widely used in many fields,they are used for measure density of various liquids or resolutions.

1)For resolution or liquid Density>10001000Kg/m3

Used for measure density of liquids or solutions of acid,soda,or brine etc.For example,sulphuric acid,nitricacid,hydrochloric acid,and sodium hydroxide,potassium,hydroxide,zinc chloride,sodium chloride.

2)For resolution or liquid Density<1000Kg/m3Used for measure density of ethylether,methyl alcohol,gasoline,kerosene,plant oil,petro-ether etc.
